Lisa Lassagne is a seasoned veteran in the escrow industry. Lisa worked her way up from the bottom, passing her notary exam and started in the escrow industry in 1989 at the open order desk for First American Title in Oakland, California. She worked her way through a variety of job roles including filmer, customer service representative preparing property profiles and farm packages, escrow assistant, junior escrow officer, escrow officer and finally branch manager.

Through the California Escrow Association (CEA), she passed the Certified Escrow Officer exam in 1994 and the Certified Senior Escrow Officer exam in 2000. She also served as President of the East Bay Escrow Association (EBEA) in 2003 and 2010, as CEA Director for three years from 1998 – 2000 and was voted EBEA member of the year in 2000 and 2001.

Lisa has remained committed to the escrow industry through association involvement and support over the years. Her commitment took a new turn in 1998 when she wanted to provide a new level of service never before experienced in the industry and she established Central Signing Service, Inc., a nationwide signing service.

Being one of the first nationwide signing services, Lisa has seen outside accommodation signings start as the exception and now has become an integral part of the closing process. When Oregon passed the temporary legislation for remote online notarizations (RONs), she quickly jumped on board to personally become a RON certified notary to add this to the growing suite of services offered by Central Signing Service. Lisa continues to stay heavily involved and educated in today’s industry best practices and needs.
